BPA toxicity admitted! What is your next move?

bisphenola.jpg

On the 9th of August I reminded you what are the negative effects of stocking food and drinks in plastic, even if plastic “for food”. Today the toxicity is confirmed, but I didn’t see so much rumor about it. Plastic bottles/containers heated up with boiling water, as shown experimentally, release high quantities of bisphenol-A, even when the container is cooled down and rinsed out. Even if these quantities are below the “safety limits”, I don’t see any reason why we should drink tea with bisphenol-A and have higher probabilities of breast/prostate cancers in the future. That’s why we will not use our plastic water boiler anymore (left in the picture) and we bought a new water boiler made of metal (on the right).
