A dream comes true, thanks to eeePC and E-UAE (E version of Universal Amiga Emulator). The first UAE version I installed was quite slow: is the UAE you can find in Synaptic (search:UAE). The version which works perfectly on my eeePC comes from http://www.rcdrummond.net/uae/. I installed the e-uae_0.8.29-WIP4_linux-i586_sdl.tar.bz2 version you find at the bottom of the page. I can easily play with Rainbow Island, Spherical, Agony, Desert Strike, Super Frog and many other games. Just the sound gave some problems, but selecting “Accurate”, “16 bit” and “Stereo” in the E-UAE sound menu solved everything. Before this E-UAE version I installed older ones, but they had big problems with memory management and sound. So, enjoy your portable Amiga500
