… and dark times for science in general. The golden age for biology and physics at the beginning of the XX century is passed by. Today physics focus on the distant-from-people and from-our-planet borders of the universe. Biology is not anymore recognized as helping the development of human beings. Ignorance substitutes Darwin theories with the intelligent design superstition even at school. Science today is not a philosophy anymore, it is market. Nowadays science has to produce something commercially valid, like fake pills against bird flu or always new electronic gadgets like the iPhone. This is what people want. This is what people get. Sad, sad society we live.
Intelligent design cannot be taught at school in parallel with Darwinism during “science hours”. Darwinism is science, intelligent design is literature!
