Why press, European leaders and citizens of the World have to listen to what George Walker Bush says shamelessly everyday since Georgia has been invaded?

Guess why Bush wants Georgia “free and in the NATO “, after he will start to put his rockets in Poland to save Europe from the Iran menace. Is everybody blind, out there?

Who are the main producers of petrol in the world? 1. Saudi Arabia 2. Russia 3. United States 4. Iran. Who is the main petrol consumer? United States

Wake up people, wake up Europe!!! US enemies are not enemies of the world, are just enemies of the US government!

..ed e’ vero. Per lo meno gli Italiani che incontro all’estero, come questa sera. Forse perche’ lontano dal governicchio capitatogli fra capo e collo per la terza volta. Forse perche’ felici di essere temporaneamente in un paese civilizzato. Forse perche’ lontani dai media italiani… chissa’.

E sempre molto piacevole incontrare e dialogare con Italiani all’estero: oggi, complice un ottimo salmone al forno e la prima giornata di sole, e’ stata una serata molto piacevole.

Rivolta necessaria contro la barbara mentalita’ imprenditoriale italiana

Tre episodi assai gravi sono accaduti recentemente in Italia.

1) Uno steward dell’ Alitalia ha dovuto chiudere il suo blog dove denunciava le precarie condizioni igieniche e organizzative della businnes class della disastrata compagnia di bandiera.

2) Un sindacalista delle ferrovie dello stato, dopo aver denunciato due incidenti (due Eurostar spezzatisi -!!!- poco fuori la stazione – nessuna conseguenza in quanto vuoti) e’ stato licenziato il giorno di ferragosto dalla compagnia ferroviaria.

3) Le famiglie di alcuni operai della Umbria olii, morti in uno spaventoso rogo nella fabbrica dove stavano lavorando, dovranno risarcire -!!!- la ditta per i danni occorsi dopo l’incendio

Gli Italiani protestano? Scendono in piazza? Si indignano?  Troppi dicono sempicemente “non sono fatti miei”. Buon sonno, societa’ civile.

400,000 and not feeling them …

It’s not the best moment for the blog: one month ago the European championships (first canyon in the graph), now summer holidays. Nevertheless 400,000 contacts have been reached and easily overtaken.. and we go further! Thanks to all of you, even those on holidays … not like me

The Trift bridge, in the Trift valley, on the Trift glacier

Fist time we had a full day trekking (8 hours long) with a particular aim: to see the Trift glacier. We were lucky, as we had to wait only 15 minutes to get on the cable car (on a 1 hour long average), the weather was wonderful … and the glacier still fights against global warming I am sure the trek can be much shorter, if your wife doesn’t stop to pick and eat blue berries every now and then!

The Jesus in Zürich at the Street Parade 2008

I tried not to fall in temptation, but I didn’t succeed. This week-end Zurich as been colorful and beautiful like never before. Not that I am such a fan of techno music: I was in the city center just for small shopping. The chance put me in what I think was the hottest place of this street parade: down the Gross Munster, in front of the Munster Bridge. There, a huge group of evangelist samba drum players tried to keep rave lovers out of drugs and alcohol On the street in front of them, the sexy and cheerful carnival parade went on without problem. I had by chance my 70-300mm on my Canon 450D, and I took amazing pictures.

La stampa italiana e’ il braccio armato del potere

Ignoranza e sottomissione: queste le due caratteristiche che un giornalista italiano deve avere. Da Repubblica al Corriere al Manifesto, i giornalisti Italiani si distinguono per ipocrisia e non conoscenza dei fatti come pochi altri al mondo. Prendiamo il caso della “guerra di Putin in Georgia”. Tutti, ma proprio tutti i giornali italiani a ripetere quello che padron Bush ha sberciato da Pechino: persino che gli USA combattono per la pace!

Ho cercato rifugio nei giornali stranieri, e quello trovato su The Guardian (noto giornale filo sovietico), riassume quello che la stampa estera dice. Grazie, James Poulos, per ricordarmi che solo in Italia troppi giornalisti sono tali meschini servi del potere. Siete il braccio armato del potere. Perche’ c’e’ ancora gente che spende soldi per comprare le pericolose stupidaggini che scrivete?

Saakashvili is the end of the world – but he is not alone

Bush criticizes Putin for bombing another country, Italy is ready to send troops to help Russia keeping peace in the region, Silvio Berlusconi is trying a moral suasion on Putin, Sarkozy will fly to Moscow without Carla Bruni and Saakashvili declares peace, goes on bombarding Russian secessionists and at the same time asks help from USA. It’s raining cats and dogs here, my friends!

Still feeling the „King of the road“ after watching this?

Horrible, and mostly impossible to survive it. After this movie I lost any excitement in driving. It happened some weeks ago in Italy: what made the truck loosing control is unknown.
