Or, for not German speakers: how to make not-so-clean money out of internet users in Switzerland. Since the 1st of September 2008, a new tax rule is applied in Switzerland. Everybody having a fast internet connection and Media player or equivalent programs (!!!) has to pay taxes for having radio-like equipments. This rule is ridiculous because:
1) EVERY operating system has equivalent to media player software already installed , so …
2) … this law makes everybody having FAST internet connection paying for radio, even if not listening to it!
3) They ask every fast internet user 15 CHF per month! Fast internet connections are more or less 50 CHF per month In Switzerland …
4) … so, with this new rule internet surfers will have to pay 33% more!
5) The money stolen to internet users will be mainly given to the Swiss National Television! Yes, internet users, from the 1st of September considered also radio users, will give their money to television. Is there ANY logic out of this?
WHO wrote and accepted this aberrant rule in the Swiss Federal Parliament? I WANT TO KNOW!
