Comfortably Numb

Something definitively changed in me, but I don’t know why. I am not interested in anything else than my work. On the other side, my work doesn’t pay me back: so, the frustration gets easily too high. Keeping social relationship annoys me: I prefer to stay at work. Making new contacts is out of discussion: I am not interested in it. What’s going on? Am I “comfortably numb”?

A good Swiss example: food autarchy

When we moved to Switzerland from Germany we were quite shocked for not founding the German dairy products we were used to. We were also laughing at all the Swiss logos you find on food products “made in Switzerland”. After more than 2 years living in Switzerland, we do now admire the food autarchism Switzerland built up. We admire a system 1) supporting workers of their own land. 2) more than adequately controlling the quality of its own production 3) protecting us from the cheap-toxic-food produced by other lands.

Save the kids of Gomorra

No interest for the primitive beasts of Gomorra: teens and grown ups killing, trafficking drugs and hiding industrial wastes. They devoted their life to money, so be it. Some pity for who had to leave his land to drive a normal life. But what about all the kids like Toto’? Are they really damned to follow the steps of their subnormal neighbors?

The real environment shown in Gomorra is as toxic as Chernobyl for young kids. Like the Ukrainian kids, poor Naples kids have to be transported somewhere else to get decontaminated. Those kids have to see, have to learn what a normal life is. And, if they will ever choose to go back to their polluted land, they will have to fight to bring normality back.

Rich people like it wet!

Try to ask your colleagues/friends how often do they shower. They will reply you: “everyday” or even “twice a day”. I was SHOCKED! I shower 3 times per week or every other day at maximum. I can assure neither I stink, nor fungi grow on me

You probably take multiple showers per day. Do you know you use 60 to 100 liters of water per shower? So, you abuse of approx. 560 liters to 1120 liters of water per week, against my 320 liters.

Humans drink around 2 liters of water per day. The water you abuse could be drinkable water for 160 to 400 people per week. In addition to this, often showering makes you more vulnerable to bacterial and viral infections.

Paolo Mereghetti: licenza di non capire

In Italia il film “Der Baader Meinhof Komplex” e’ stato erroneamente intitolato “La banda Baader Meinhof”, causando non pochi problemi alla comprensione del film, come il Mereghetti ( il cosiddetto critico che il Corriere mette a disposizione del suo vasto pubblico) conferma con la sua ridicola recensione sul corriere.it

“Komplex” (la parola tradotta come “banda” in italiano) e’ quello che la Meinhof matura nella sua traslazione da giornalista di sinistra a terrorista attiva. “Komplex” e’ la finestra aperta sulla lotta sociale, o sul baratro umano, ben fotografata a meta’ del film.

Francesco Cossiga e la nuda veritas

Io non so perche’ Francesco Cossiga venga ora descritto come porco, bastardo, gli venga augurato di crepare presto e cosi’ via. Il nostro, presidente emerito della Repubblica Italiana, dovrebbe campare altri cent’anni e continuare a spiegarci come la Repubblica Italiana gestisce le dimostrazioni di piazza.
