Who is hiding in our Christmas tree?

December 24, 2008

Or below it? Or inside it? No, it’s not Santa, he doesn’t have to hide tonight! It is not even the skating snowman, Ioannis favorite. It is something, ups, somebody else, who probably wants to go back where he belongs to: except the color, he has nothing to do with Christmas. We will help him to go back home (click on the picture to zoom in) ;)

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Rapperswil Jakobsweg: best anti shopping-histeria ever

December 24, 2008

| View Show | Create Your Own

It has been a real (!) pleasure to step out the city and to relax, there on the St. James way (El camino de Santiago), where no Christmas hysteric shopper could be ;) I was so fed up of shops, sales, crowds, stinky mall ground floors … a few hours, there on that short piece of St. James way, have been really good to find myself again. Enjoy the pictures in small format up here or, better, click here to watch them on our flickr account.

Merry Christmas!

A “no-religion” world: a tricky and very dangerous lie!

December 20, 2008

Spain: crucifixes removed from public schools. France: no Christmas mass on Tf1. UK: “Happy Winter Holidays” should be preferred to “Merry Christmas”. Europe gets rid of Christian religion chains. Religion equals to Church imposed slavery, and people belonging to Church are for sure not better than others, not even towards kids (Jesus favorites!). Find in this blog one single post defending religions.

We should be happy Europe becomes lay. But we can’t. And we must not.

It is illusory to deny public spaces to Christianity “for equal rights among religions”, thinking that nobody else will fill these spaces sooner or later with other religions. Laymen and laywomen are far weaker in defending their rights than believers promoting the Truth all over the Planet. Because this is the very aim of a good believer: he has the Truth, and he wants to share it with all of you. No jokes: this is serious and must be taken seriously.

The world is not lay: the majority of the people believe in some God – and everybody thinks his own God is the real God. Every lay space is like a country without tanks on a Risk! map. Sooner or later, somebody will come, and laymen and laywomen will be converted. The conversion should be promoted without the use of force; this is what every Holy Book says. We, the “good” Christians, already know this is utopia: how many people died while being converted to Christianity?

This “somebody that one day will fill empty spaces in Europe” will be stronger than people who deny today public spaces to Christianity, because who fights for neutrality is disposed to loose less than who fights to give human beings the ultimate Truth. Laymen and laywomen are alone; the believer has God with him. The Truth will break the layman and the laywoman in a moment.

When those days will come, we will regret how stupid we acted by fighting against Christian symbols (just symbols!), because the freedom to choose which Truth to follow will be lost. It will be lost because we broke a necessary equilibrium among religions, thus giving religious monopoly the possibility to spread out on the Planet.

Deceived Europeans: Merry Christmas!

IN THE POST PICTURE: what you google out by highest rank with typing “Merry Christmas” …

The very end of human society is close

December 17, 2008

IF it is true that brain scans and special recognition software can read our minds, as published on Neuron, this is the end of the society as we know it.

If this technical advance will remain in the hands of few people, they will gain total control on everything. Not only they will know what we think, they could even reverse the process and make us thinking what they want.

If this discovery will become of public domain, human beings will have to accept to live alone, as no parents, no partner, no friend, no colleague would survive reading our open access minds. Forget about aluminum helmets: it seems they even amplify some particular frequencies.

You throw two shoes to Mr. Bush ..

.. you shout him “It is the farewell kiss, you dog” and you get broken arm and ribs, as well as injuries to an eye and a leg. Muntazar al-Zaidi paid too much his gesture. More shoes thrown against more leaders would make this world a better democracy. For whom the next shoe will fly?

London for Christmas

December 17, 2008

It has been a fully enjoyable experience, thanks to Al and Laura. Finding Cologne Christmas Market (!) under London Eye gave the right atmosphere to the city, otherwise overwhelmed by that Christmas shopping hysteria common to many metropolises.

Reading the name of Charles Darwin in Westminster Abbey has been priceless, especially now that Creationism is back in fashion. A night at the Royal opera with the Royal orchestra for Hansel and Gretel has been odd and funny. Listening to the Royal Guard singing Beatles songs during the morning change has been very British.

Greenwich and the meridian, Norwich and its churches, Stonehenge rocks, Tower Bridge, Sherlock Holmes house, the pelicans at St. James … how much did we see and how much did we miss?

Nevertheless, beware of the Tate Modern gallery… watch instead our picture by clicking HERE or the post picture.
