There IS a boundary for the pain. Until a certain threshold, pain is motivating. At every beginning, the left column of pain is for sure higher than the right column of gain. A perfect job sees the right column of gain increasing somehow before the pain column reaches its top. A bloody goddamned job like mine has a huge, without end left pain column. This evil pain column gets so high, that at the end of the job the gain column is no visible anymore. Either I am not good at my job, or this job is for masochists only.
It was a big success the inline skating marathon “Aktive gegen die Schweine Grippe” organized by Loranablog on the 29th of August 2009. Several enthusiastic inline skaters, following the motto “No kisses, no hugs .. it’s pandemic, baby! (CC)” rolled for 19,340 meters around the Greifen See. The sunny day and the süessmoscht gave more than enough juice to roll the long distance in only 3 hours and 22 minutes. The end of the day has been celebrated with a vigorous swimming in the lake and a gorgeous grill back in the city.

When the 1st of August is celebrated with the family on the Rigi mountain, the integration grade of the immigrant in Switzerland starts to be quite high. Therefore, to show my father he has no more to be worried (for us) about washing machine days, ruhezeiten, ruhetagen and girillieren verbot, we had a very nice and long trip on the Rigi by cogwheel train and back to Luzern by steam wheel boat. The trailer of the movie “Videocracy” has been censored by Italian televisions. This means, Italians will not know about a movie made about their last 30 years of history. The censorship has been applied because the trailer offends the Italian minister Silvio Berlusconi. The trailer shows how the commercial television introduced by the businessman Silvio Berlusconi radically changed the Italian society, producing idiotic-Tv-dependent sex maniacs out of “normal” citizens. I wonder why Silvio Berlusconi does not want this trailer to be shown, as this movie greatly witnesses his success in transforming the Italian citizens in Berlusconi clones.

I try to avoid easy conclusions as usual. However, I find interesting the similar stories coming from schools in Argentina and Russia. A colleague of mine has a nephew in Buenos Aires. My wife has a nephew in Moscow. These two young boys are around 11ish. Both of them are “beautiful kids”, at least for the girls of their classrooms. Girls who physically fight against girls to get the attention of the novel Adonis. Girls who touch “there” the body of the boys. Girls who slap and beat the boys when they don’t pay attention to the girls.
Is this normal? I don’t remember anything like this when I was at school. Where does this aggressiveness come from? Which models do these girls follow? How the boys react? Go back playing with Barbie, girlies.

I played the most wonderful adventure written for a computer game one year ago. The Longest Journey has been the most captivating game adventure I ever lived. I finished 2 minutes ago to play DreamFall-The Longest Journey, the so called 2nd episode of The Longest Journey you released in 2006.
“Finished to play” is quite ironic, as you sent to almost death, death penalty or true death most of the good characters … but the story itself is not finished at all!!! We are in 2009 now. Two-thousand-and-nine!!! What the hell are you waiting for to release the 3rd episode? For the Balance, how could you be so cruel? What are those rumors about Dreamfall chapters???
