Ma in Italia, nessuno si sente PRESO PER IL CULO da un Presidente del Consiglio che afferma sul caso Mills «È un’invenzione pura, un assurdo, non c’è stata nessuna dazione da parte di un manager di Fininvest che tra l’altro è morto»? O da un Tg1 che afferma che Mills e’ stato ASSOLTO? O da un Giornale che titola VITTORIA di Berlusconi?

Ho molti colleghi stranieri che mi chiedono consigli su cosa vale la pena di visitare in Italia. Io, dopo le esperienze di altri colleghi precedenti, gli consiglio di andare in Spagna. Non mi stupisce che il 45% dei giovani Italiani risultino razzisti da questo sondaggio – chissa’ i meno giovani!
-Due colleghi kenioti, dopo gli ennesimi episodi di razzismo contro gente di colore (Rosarno tanto per citare l’ultimo) hanno paura a recarsi in Italia a vedere il Papa (!).
-Una collega colombiana e sua sorella sono state a Roma. “Per fortuna abbiamo passato l’ultima settimana delle nostre vacanze a Parigi; in Italia siamo state trattate male sia in strada che al ristorante. Avevamo un’idea diversa sugli Italiani” - e’ stato il loro commento.
-Un collega belga e’ stato a Milano: “Gli stranieri sono tanti anche in Belgio, ma sono integrati e non stanno a vagabondare per le strade come a Milano”
-A un collega francese e’ stato richiesto di pagare in nero un controllore del treno per evitare una multa inesistente.
-Una collega cinese in gita a Firenze non ha avuto miglior fortuna delle due Colombiane a Roma – difficilmente tornera’ in vacanza in Italia.
-Un Cubano e la sua famiglia hanno vissuto 15 anni fa a Roma. Ora vivono in Germania. Sono tornati in vacanza a Roma l’anno scorso. “Mai piu’, i commenti e gli atteggiamenti che abbiamo subito in quanto “famiglia straniera con bambino” su mezzi e in luoghi pubblici sono stati atroci”.
Colleghi russi ci hanno chiamato in panico dalla Stazione Centrale a Milano: la cassiera in escandescenza ci ha urlato al telefono che non e’ affar suo indicare ai turisti il binario da cui parte un treno (!).

What could I improve in it? How can I minimize the color changes depending on monitor / PC environment? On my screen, for example, both pullovers are red (the right one is more violet), while on another screens the right pullover is almost pink.
I do not write anything new. It is just a sum of recent experiences pushing me to analyze what is the role of “family” in our society. I know quite many young mamas – around 30, let’s say. I know quite many couples living abroad. Many stories start with problems in finding two jobs in the same city/country/continent. Many stories finish with the husband working somewhere far far away from his family, the wife-mama working to pay the house and the baby sitter / kinder garden; the mama-wife with a broken heart because of the very few time spent with her baby and with her husband. The baby … boh? We will see in the next future how will he develop in this kind of modern family.
Anyway, as long as women are asked if they have the intention to get pregnant at every job interview, society will not change so much. Also Stasia got asked this way last week. She was smart enough to say “pregnancy is not to be considered a problem, otherwise we would be not here talking at this table“. I doubt she will get that job
