Wikileaks terrorism? When Truth could start a global revolution.

November 29, 2010

We all know politicians are not the most reliable persons. Now that we know also politicians are aware of their miserable status, what does stop people to get rid of them? I mean, we are governed by presidents perfectly informed about their own terribly low, if not insane profile – like for Argentina, Iran, Libya, Italy, France and many others.

Would you entrust your cat / your company / your wife / your kids to somebody like Berlusconi, Gheddafi, Putin, Ahmadinejad and so on ? Why are so many insane people chosen by God to rule countries (if we follow what Jews like to believe)? Why Democracy (at least when present) permits so many insane persons to reach the highest positions in each country?

When we do go for elections, there is nothing good to choose for. It is time to change “democracy” into something better. Any idea?

Polyball 2010: pictures from a night of chicks and feathers

November 28, 2010

This year 2010 we truly loved Polyball “A night out in the 20s’” at the ETH Zurich. From 8pm to 5am we could (somehow) dance on Swing and Charleston and Rock, surrounded by beautiful guests dressed in 20′s style. Feathers and slick heats, elegant night dresses and pearl laces , nine hours of true entertainment!! Click here to watch some pictures from this event!

„Children?!?!?“ cannot be a substitute salutation for „How are you?“

November 23, 2010

Although I suspect this is only a typical Italian habit, I write this post in English for survey curiosity. Do you married couples without kids also have friends and colleagues, and not just relatives, greeting you with “Children?!?!?” instead of “How is it going?” !?

I find this habit quite annoying –as if making kids is our only and top priority since we got married.

What about if we do not want kids? Or if we want them, but not now? What if I smashed my jewels on my bike saddle, but I do not wanna tell you!? Or if my wife is a very good looking transvestite, but she wants to keep the secret ;) ?

The post picture is ONLY a photo-montage to make you happy, children fans

Every day an Italian kid wakes up …

November 22, 2010

… and he knows he will have to run faster than the cockroaches to reach his school. Every day an Italian cockroach wakes up, and he knows he will have to run fast before streets get clean … ok, maybe … not so fast.

Anyway, it is not important if you are a kid or a cockroach, just start to run … away!

ADvertisement NEMESIS

November 21, 2010

How often did you strongly defend the quality of a product you had or you wanted to buy? How did you justify your ideas? Seldom on practical experiences, as usually we do not have enough money to test everything.

Your ideas were based on advertisements. With “advertisements” I do not only mean media campaigns. Specialized magazines, blogs and other “independent” reviews are the most solid base to build current opinions.

“Oddly”, nobody ever wrote on reviews or told you: “Nikon or Canon? It is more or less the same” or “ATi or NVIDIA? No real difference” or “Mac or PC? They share most of the components” or “BMW or Mercedes? Just follow your taste” or “Colgate or Aquafresh?  They act the same on your teeth”. Such sentences would be the nemesis of marketing and capitalism.

More interesting, nobody out of marketing interests ever told you so because company Ads mutated troops of neutral shoppers in professional and costless merchandisers. If you choose a Nikon, they will tell you Canon is not as good. If you choose ATi, you will say your friends NVIDIA sucks. If you go for Mac, you are ready to laugh on PC users. If you buy a BMW, you know Mercedes is for the elders only. Read the rest of this entry »

The Clash of Women in Berlusconi’s Goverment

November 21, 2010

Mara Carfagna, Berlusconi’s Minister for man/woman equal opportunities, insulted Alessandra Mussolini , from 2008 President of the parliamentary commission for infancy. Carfagna named Mussolini “vajassa“, which in Naples dialect means “prostitute / slave”. How will it end?
