Often God fanatics have either a very happy or a hopeless life. The first worship God to thank Him for the wonderful life they deserve and explain every tragedy happening to the others (that for sure are on the wrong side of life) as God punishment. The second have nothing else to hope than a new and better after-life, as the actual life is crap.
A third kind of fanatics, on top of the previous two, abuses of God name and belief: these are the so-called “leaders”. Leaders proclaim being in direct contact with God. Recently we could hear representatives of the American Republicans: “Irene was a punishment from God“, for example.
How can humans interpret the will of God, supposed that God really exists? Bush declared he talked to God - and even got answers before starting the war in Iraq. Crusaders and Islam terrorists killed and kill in the name of God, to purify this world from infidels, whatever they are. Oddities like Anders slaughtered in the name of God, too. The vice president of Italian Research Council could recognize God punishment in Fukushima tragedy. Nazis also had God on their side (Gott mit uns!).
We are in 2011 but quite a big slice of the human population still lives in the caves.
Portatevi in prima fila mezz’ora prima dello spettacolo e buon ascolto … e visione!
Serena d’Amato and the Drummers of Torrepaduli are among the very good reasons to have summer holidays in Salento, Puglia. Enjoy them watching our three movies taken from the front row during San Rocco nights (15-18 of August) in Torrepaduli! Sorry for the low quality videos, just a way to keep them alive on Youtube.
So, you want to visit Puglia and Salento (south Italy’s “boot heel”) for summer holidays. Probably because you heard of its great seaside and sunny weather, its tasty food and wine and its amazing folklore (between 10th and 20th of August, especially).
However, you do not have the slightest idea how to plan your 2 weeks in Bella Italia. If you like music, dancing, eating, snorkelling, hiking and camping, you are reading the right post.
Just read further and click on these post pictures to open our flickr.com picture sets! Read the rest of this entry »
First time I see such a dark orange (equals to level-4: high danger) weather map in Switzerland! May God save our souls – and my PC - from lightings tonight!
So, you have three days to spend by bike on the Bodensee (Lake Konstanz), and
- You look for a bike tour with also a few cultural stops
- You like eating good
- You like shooting pictures
- You have only half first day
- You want to save some money on lodging
The Lorana variant is the tour for you.
1. First half day

A ferro e fuoco strade e ferrovie, cittadini di autobus presi “in ostaggio” a Bari. Motivo?
