The Italian animal farm

June 30, 2008

A curious coincidence: Marco Travaglio today compared the last actions of the Italian government to what happened in the famous Animal Farm by George Orwell. I’ve seen a nice Animal Farm movie just yesterday night. If you didn’t read the book, watch on youtube this good version from 1954. First part, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth. Enjoy it.

I would really love to get naked for …

… something so that a big audience could amplify my idea/protest or whatever. However, I am in a very big trouble as so many people already got naked:

- for animal rights
- against bearskin hats
- for vegetarian diets
- awareness of breast cancer Read the rest of this entry »

Gian Marco Montesano: un ulteriore disonesto intellettuale? La storia la scrivono i cineasti.

May 13, 2008

The pleasure of shapes and colors

May 1, 2008

| View Show | Create Your Own

Try to recognize in the photo show above what I pictured today at the Zürich Zoo. The quantity of shapes and colors we experienced today has been amazing: a real pleasure for our eyes … maybe not such a pleasure for the eyes of animals like this being flashed thousand times per day ;)

Miss Bimbo success reflects actual parental education

March 26, 2008

Everybody writing against Miss Bimbo internet game. Everybody shouting against a game that permits girls to have a perfect, sexy and cool virtual body - even via plastic surgery or extreme diets. Why are you all so hypocrites? Do you live on another planet? Don’t you see your girls are already dolls, even without Miss Bimbo? Miss Bimbo is the product of this crappy society, not the cause. Go out on Saturday and visit your commercial center. You’ll find thousand of moms carrying bags full of fashion products for their little angels: plastic jewels, tangas and push ups made by Walt Disney, sexy skirts and hot t-shirts .. everything is done for your babies to look like lolitas, and you parents are part of it. Google out how many underage girls go for real for plastic surgery to have bigger breasts and hot lips. Did you react against all of this before miss Bimbo came out? Wake up, parent associations! You cry out when the damage is already done.

Life: a short-term reiterative module looking for the B-point

felicidade.jpg

“A felicidade como a pluma Que o vento vai levando pelo ar Voa to leve Mas tem a vida breve Precisa que haja vento sem parar”

Today there have been no vento (wind) at all, and this led me, as usual, to think about my life … and yours. My life equals to my work, I tend to think more and more often. This is quite a dangerous decision, especially with a job that gives many frustrations and few, rare satisfactions - like yours, probably.

However, the rare happiness I get from my work is full, round and complete. That’s why I am still happy about it. Read the rest of this entry »

Silvio Berlusconi and Marie Antoinette: history repeating?

March 13, 2008

berlusconiantoinette.jpg

When the Queen Marie Antoinette was initially confronted by the poverty of the French people (”We don’t have bread!”), she responded: “Qu’ils mangent de la brioche” (”Let them eat cake),”.

When today the future president of Italy 2008, Silvio Berlusconi, was questioned by a jobless pretty girl: “What should I do to change my life?”, he responded: “Sposi uno ricco, col suo sorriso ce la potrebbe fare” (”Marry a rich man, with your smile you could succeeded in!”)

Should we expect the same ending of the story?
