This evening, while eating a pizza with tartufo at the pizzeria, I got this astonishing enlightenment. Let me quickly explain the following equations and the truth about the real essence of “work”!
Phi(W)=frustration at work; t=time; a=duration of your job contract in years; W(t)=work; sigma(t)=satisfaction
alpha(n)=achievement; n=number of achievements
F=force; d=displacement
From these 3 easy equations, two expected conclusions and one amazing and revolutionary postulate are obtained:
If (n) of achievements equals to zero, or if time t tends to infinite, frustration Phi(w) goes infinite. More unexpected, if the force F applied to work W is zero, frustration is zero! The postulate is: do not work and live happily!

Was this the most exciting summit I’ve ever been? Absolutely YES.
What about 3 days long debate on one of the hottest challenges human kind has to face? What about excellent panels made of the world best experts? What about know-how exchange among researchers, engineers, lawyers, water and farm managers, business planners, business coaches, energy, environmental and political top figures?
How stimulating can be watching such a young association with such positive visions making its first step in the real world? A lot more than what you think.
And last but not least, social networking requirements have been fully accomplished. I hope my suitcase will not be too heavy because of all the business cards I collected.
Now, the question is: what to do in the next two days of holiday under the sunny skies of the West Coast?

I don’t like how people react when I say I believe in God. Nowadays it is difficult to pronounce the words “I believe in God”. God is immediately associated to church and to crimes committed by it and its followers. To my opinion, God has very little to do with religion and church. By the way: you are free to deny God existence and you are free to believe no Creator exists. The questions raised in this documentary are urgent. Are the lives and dreams of the ordinary people from Chile, Venezuela, Bolivia, Nicaragua, Vietnam, Iraq, Iran, Palestine expendable, to keep our society safe as they want us to believe?
Is the alternative to the American empire really as dreadful as they tell us since the end of the Second World War? Is American way of life bullshit or dream?
We will never know it, because we can experience alternatives. But this documentary let us stop for a moment and think, if really life are expendable for the national safety of the most powerful nation: the United States of America.
Non è un mistero che una trasmissione come quella di Milena Gabanelli sia a rischio. Non solo per compatibilità con la nuova dirigenza ma anche perché il dg Masi le ha tolto lo scudo dell’assistenza legale nonostante non abbia mai perso una causa (ogni autore dei servizi sarà responsabile in proprio di eventuali azioni legali, un sistema per togliere coraggio anche ai più coraggiosi).
