STOPP Fluglärm in Zürich Flughafen: danke Angela Merkel, danke Lorana Blog

May 1, 2008

In Febraury 2008, Lorana went to Boden See: everything was nice except the sky. Lorana wrote after this traumatic experience to Dr. Angela Merkel, the president of Germany, to make her aware about the big problem. So many airplanes pollute Swiss air and make a lot of noise, “affecting in Zürich both Swiss native people and German emigrants [this is what Mr. Lorana "Blogio" wrote to her] “. Jan Menzer, from Angela Merkel staff, replied to Mr. Lorana Blogio, indeed leaving not so much space for a optimistic resolution. Angela for sure read the e-mail from Lorana and chose to solve everything, as you can read here and here. Thank you Dr. Angela Merkel, thank you Mr. Lorana Blogio.

Below the mail from Angela Merkel staff to Mr. Lorana Blogio:

Dear Mr. Blogio,

thank you for your question. Please not, we have a free market without restrictions. So we have not the possibility to regulate the airtraffic to Zurich by our government.

Your sincerelly

Toquinho, eu te amo

March 8, 2008

Today I was looking for a gift for Stasia and I felt the need to enter a music shop I never visited before. I directly went to the section music-DVD and I found this incredible, wonderful, touching DVD on Toquinho: “Toquinho e outros”. We watched it immediately together, and, well, the best music DVD I bought EVER. I really suggest you to buy it: unforgettable duos with Toquinho and Vinicius and much much more. A wonderful document.

Is there anything else out there?

I mean, it is not healthy to get reiterative frustration from your own job. Personal expectations of everyone should be proportional to past experiences and calibrated prospective. We don’t have all the same level of intelligence. Not everybody can fight against pressure and competition in the same effective way. Not everybody have the same goals in his/her life.

Like my father uses to remind me, using the words of a certain Spinoza B. (who lived some centuries ago) : “… the full realization of a human being, thus his joy, consists in the full development of his natural potential … “

I cannot focus my natural potential only into publishing biology articles: now I know it. There must be something more suitable to me out there…
